We have ARRIVED.

Driving for 18+ hours on little to no sleep...super horrible (cruel and unusual horrible). But I have to say, the I-70 East has some Bea-U-Tiful views. And the sky! It was so clear. When people asked how I was getting to Colorado, I explained you just take the I-15 and take a right at Colorado. Which is pretty much true.

Now all I have to do is enjoy the weekend before I start my new job!

TWO DAYS

It never feels like there is enough time. Right now, I have exactly TWO DAYS till it's moving time. That's right, heading out east through the rockies and away from the Pacific (sniffle). I feel like I need to have one last look at the deep blue before I leave but I'm not sure I have time...in fact, I'm almost positive I have no time. Technically, I have to work the night before I leave (poor planning on my part...but my wallet appreciates it! stupid need for food and shelter) But that's okay, sleep is for the weak! (and the lucky...)

So my TO DO list is pretty much: pack my ish.

Well, that and say good-bye to my loved ones. My work friends and I have breakfast planned, one of my good friends is helping me pack (well, clean really...she just doesn't know it yet). And somewhere in there I need to actually sleep...or down a few energy drinks...or open a caffeine IV drip.

The Countdown begins...

6 more days. That is how many more sunrises and sunsets that I will be enjoying here on the West Coast before my epic trek across the US to the land-locked Colorado. Excited? Me? HELL YA!!!

Although I am a self-proclaimed sun and ocean type of girl (even though I find Sand to be a very difficult companion during beach time), I find the idea of this move terribly new and exciting. Having never lived farther then 30 minutes away from the beach (and that was even in traffic ridden LA), I start to hyperventilate a little just imagining the distance I would have to travel to see my dear Pacific Ocean...*sniffle*

HOWEVER!! Brave soul that I am - with my trusty computer, camera...and maybe some heavy layers - Colorado, here I come!
