Two Weeks in and STILL ALIVE...mhahahahhahah

That's right, Two weeks into a foreign land and I'm still surviving!

...

Well, maybe not foreign, but definitely super different. There are WAY more trees, the mountains are basically in my backyard, and I feel like I can eat clouds for breakfast everyday. In fact, I might spend an entire post just talking about how different the clouds are (I personally think that's probably the best part about this place...well, that and the EPIC POOL! Their pool here has a rock wall to climb on in the middle of it! Not that I'm bragging or anything ^_~.)

Now, the move here was just AWFUL. Driving for 18-20 hours straight on no sleep is someone's idea of punishment. I'm never doing that again (planes are the way of the future! and today, but that just doesn't sound as cool). The only person who could put up with me and my terrible tantrums when I'm tired is my mom, so thanks to Buddha that she was the one with me. We actually had to pull over for an hour or two to take a nap. It was in the White Rivier National Park, so it was just lovely, but still.

After a weekend with the Nephew, brother, and soon-to-be-sister, I jumped into work. The first day AT Fort Collins (the place of my new home) was spent at training (Think RA training, just with better pay and less time commitment). I really like my boss. He reminds of my old one (Dana), just a bit sassy-er and even less guidance.

That's the interesting part. This is the second year that my position at SLiCE (that's the office I work in) has been in effect. My only complaint is that there is still a LOT of things they are missing to make this position seamlessly transition between years. I feel like I have to start from scratch in a few things, but aside from that (and the little fact that the E-Newsletter was created in order to torture my soul), I'm excited about working there. I just hope my excitement keeps going throughout the ENTIRE year.
